Job Description

The Division of Pain Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Pain Physician to join its pain faculty at the Assistant and Associate Professor rank in the Department of Anesthesiology. The Center for the Assessment and Management of Pain was instituted in May of 2013 with currently two locations, one at the YNHH Spine Center and the recent addition of Cancer Pain at the Smilow Cancer Hospital. Our recent successful pilot of pre-Operative pain consults for Spine patients with high opioid use has officially been adopted by the hospital with plans to expand this project to other specialties.

Call responsibilities will be in Pain Medicine and responsibilities would include outpatient pain and inpatient pain, which include Pediatric Pain.

Qualifications

Candidates must be Board Certified/ Board Eligible and qualify for a Connecticut license. Candidates in subspecialty areas must be Fellowship Trained.
