The Department of Anesthesiology at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Pediatric & Adult Anesthesiologist to provide exceptional anesthesia care across a diverse patient population, including children under the age of two. What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients, including infants and children under the age of two
• Perform thorough pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia using advanced technologies and evidence-based techniques
• Manage post-operative pain and support safe patient recovery throughout the perioperative continuum
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in resident and trainee education within an academic medical environment
• Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
• Support the ongoing advancement of innovative anesthesia practices and perioperative care models
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, compassion, and excellence aligned with High Reliability Organization principles

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

The candidate must have a valid degree as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a license or permit to practice in the State of New York; possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in the field of Anesthesiology , Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology and prior experience in the field of Anesthesiology.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Candidate:

The preferred candidate will be board certified in both anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology and have previous clinical experience in both pediatric and adult anesthesiology.
