Grand Forks, ND 58201Pay Range: $17.07 - $25.60The Anesthesia Technician supports Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgical teams by preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment and supplies. This role ensures safe and efficient anesthesia care by managing equipment setup, stocking materials, assisting in emergency situations, and maintaining compliance with safety and infection-control standards.
Essential Job Functions:
Sets up and breaks down anesthesia workstations before and after procedures.
Cleans, restocks, and prepares airway carts, intubation equipment, and emergency supplies.
Assists anesthesia providers with equipment positioning, IV equipment setup, and basic procedural support (non-clinical tasks only).
Prepares and restocks anesthesia drugs under the direction and supervision of anesthesia providers and according to facility policy.
Supports providers during emergent situations (code blue, rapid response) by preparing airway equipment and supplies.
Maintains accurate stock levels of anesthesia supplies, including circuits, masks, airway devices, and medications.
Rotates stock and ensures all items are within expiration date.
Organizes storage areas for efficiency and compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
