Under supervision and direction of the RN, the Anesthesia Tech operates, sets-up and maintains monitoring equipment in the operating rooms. Assists the anesthesiologist with implementation of monitoring lines and devices. Maintains anesthesia supplies and equipment. Maintains and operates video and laser equipment under the direction of the RN.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:· One year experience in the OR.· Knowledge of anesthesia equipment· Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.· American Heart Association BLS health care provider. Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.· Paramedic experience· EMT experience
