The Supply Chain Associate position is considered essential for the effective long-term operation and support of Anesthesia operations.Position Responsibilities:Organize and maintain Anesthesia supply inventory across operating rooms and clinical areas.Address inventory issues related to the supply chain and suggest models for improvement. Assist with inventory management for all anesthetizing locations throughout the hospital.Responsible for the maintenance of inventory databases and scanning workflows. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.6 months to 1-year related supply chain experience.Proficient with Microsoft Excel.Prompt communication with Anesthesia staff regarding emergencies and requests.Ability to move throughout hospital, move up to 25 pounds, and frequently transport heavy case carts.Ability to move and position self to handle inventory, including high/low shelving. Desired Qualifications:Utilize PeopleSoft, SPM or Power Bi.A valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.Effectively multi-task, keeping multiple initiatives moving forward simultaneously.Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.Knowledge of supply chain management in a hospital setting.
