We are looking for:Anesthesia Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Do you enjoy collaborating with multiple teams and departments throughout the day?In our Anesthesia department, you will have the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and skillset inanestheticprocedures and treatments
What you’ll do:
Assistin patient procedures usingknowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Manage appointments,obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
Intravenous catheter placement, endotrachealintubationand anesthetic equipment use and maintenance
Thorough understanding of anesthetic considerations and how comorbidities affect case protocol and perioperative management
Monitoranesthesia, troubleshoot anesthetic complications and makeappropriate interventions
Continuousexpansion ofknowledge and skillset; advanced anesthetic skills include arterial line placement, epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.
Lean onthoroughunderstanding of physiology and pharmacology tofacilitatedelivery ofappropriate anestheticcare forhigh riskpatients or procedures.

Ensure documentation isaccurateand complete
Who you are:
State Registered Veterinary Technician licenserequired
Prior veterinary experiencerequired,previousAnesthesia experience desired
Proficientincalculations(drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
