Job Description

You will be responsible for

• Architecture & design:
  • Ensure best-in-class mobile application performance, stability and overall quality across devices
  • Seek to mitigate shortcomings in the path taken to implement old and new features and help to improve the direction through pull requests, proposing architectural changes, and implementing better alternatives as part of the day to day work
  • Participate in directing the development of inyad’s mobile applications using the best technologies available to deliver new features as needed
• Product:
  • Work with design and product to give feedback and perspective on designs to ensure all edge cases are covered and our end users will have an enjoyable experience
  • Suggest new features to the product owner based on your knowledge of the codebase and the industry as a whole
• Delivery :
  • Take a hands-on role as required ; write & review code on a regular basis
  • Assist team in triaging bugs and solving issues in production
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency
• People:
  • Act as a mentor to engineers working on mobile to raise the standards as our team scales

Your qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of industry experience in engineering
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency using Java
• Experience with Android
• Previous exposure to architectural patterns of web applications (e.g., well-designed APIs, micro services, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
• Expertise in relational databases and schema design
• Disciplined approach to writing tests and quality assurance
• Cool, easy-going, genuinely willing to learn and create value
