Job Location: 100% remote in Romania

Builds native Android features, working with the Android SDK, backend APIs, and databases, across a range of device types.

Responsibilities

• Design and build native Android features using the Android SDK
• Integrate with backend APIs and databases
• Write maintainable, reusable code and refactor as needed
• Support functionality across multiple Android device types and screen sizes
• Collaborate with a cross-functional development team
• Use Git for version control and code collaboration

Required

• 5+ years of Android development experience, including apps that support multiple device types
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, plus experience working with databases and APIs
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to write maintainable code and recognize when refactoring is needed
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Internet/Mobile Banking or another customer-facing digital platform
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred

• CI experience (Gradle, GitHub Actions, Artifactory)
• Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
• Code quality tooling (SonarQube, Lint, Detekt)
• Experience with other mobile platforms
• Comfortable using AI tools for analysis, documentation, and process improvement
