Android Developer

We are looking for an Android Developer to build high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications for a banking environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to performance, and the ability to deliver under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities


  • Translate user stories into functional mobile applications

  • Design and develop rich, user-centric interfaces aligned with product goals

  • Collaborate with designers and engineers (web and mobile) to deliver engaging UI/UX

  • Produce high-quality code within aggressive timelines

  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective solutions

  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation

  • Conduct unit testing to ensure code performs as designed

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin

  • Proven experience building high-performance, scalable mobile applications with rich UI

  • Strong knowledge of Android OS, UI components, SDK, and Android Studio

  • Understanding of mobile performance, latency, and security principles

  • Experience with performance optimization and analysis tools

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Experience with Firebase, Fastlane, CI/CD tools

  • Strong knowledge of APIs and integration technologies (REST, JSON, XML, microservices)

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

  • Self-starter with a continuous learning mindset

Preferred Qualifications


  • Background in backend or web application development

  • Experience with advanced UI concepts

  • Exposure to Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservices Architecture
