The position

We are looking for a thoughtful, well-rounded Android Developer to join our team and help build an application that thousands of people use every day to discover and go to live events. You will play an important part in our mobile engineering practice, implementing new features, improving performance, and building beautiful user interfaces.

Our Android app is written in Kotlin. Other technologies that we use in our team are - GO, TypeScript, MongoDB, and AWS.

We are still in the early stages of our journey, so the things you build here will have a tremendous impact on both our business, our user's experience and for Abundo as a company.

What you will be doing

• Work mainly with our mobile apps, but if you’d like you can work across our entire tech stack.
• Contribute to all stages in the product life cycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• We operate our systems on Amazon AWS.
• Work in a lightweight scrum process where we constantly streamline our tools and workflows making sure that each workday is productive and stimulating.
• Learning and growing constantly to feed your passion for self-improvement and make those around you better

Who we think you are

• A couple of years of experience with software development and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android development
• Previous experience from building apps for Google Play
• Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style, a wish to share what you already know, and jumping at the opportunity to dive into new technology and territory.
• Previous experience working with development tools and concepts such as Git and continuous integration/delivery
• Passion for building great consumer products
