About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android App Developer to contribute to a modern Android SDK and

application ecosystem. The role requires deep Kotlin expertise, Jetpack Compose, Clean Architecture, library

development, modular build management, and disciplined testing and code-quality practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and enhance Android applications and SDK components.
• Develop Android solutions using Kotlin and modern asynchronous programming practices.
• Implement reactive application flows using Coroutines, Flow and StateFlow.
• Build user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, including reusable design-system components.
• Apply Clean Architecture across data, domain and presentation layers.
• Support migration from legacy MVVM to Clean Architecture.
• Develop and maintain published Android SDKs and libraries with careful API design, backward compatibility and versioning.
• Manage SDK publishing through Maven and Artifactory.
• Implement dependency injection using Koin or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop networking functionality using Retrofit and OkHttp.
• Maintain complex Gradle configurations across multi-module applications.
• Contribute to unit-test-driven delivery, code reviews and automated quality checks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7 years of relevant Android development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin.
• Deep experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow and StateFlow.
• Strong experience developing Android user interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience building or maintaining custom design-system components.
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture.
• Experience implementing data, domain and presentation layers, including DTO to Domain to UiState mapping.
• Experience in Android SDK or library development.
• Understanding of API design, backward compatibility, versioning and Maven/Artifactory publishing.
• Experience with Koin or transferable dependency-injection frameworks.
• Experience with Retrofit and OkHttp.
• Strong Gradle knowledge covering multi-module builds, product flavors, buildSrc, version catalogs and BOMs.
• Strong software-testing discipline and unit-test-driven workflows.

• MockK for mocking and unit testing.
• Turbine for testing Flow-based behaviour.
• Truth for expressive assertions.
• Detekt and Android lint integrated into CI quality gates.
