Hiring Position: Ancillary Revenue Manager

Working Condition: 100% on-site

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Our client is a leading no-frills carrier with the most significant number of domestic routes within Thailand. The airline is also planning on opening more destinations regionally. Based on the data from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the country expects tourism revenue to reach 80% of what it was before the pandemic.

As one of the major carriers here in the Kingdom, the airline expects to experience a boom in the tourist industry after the pandemic domestically and regionally and they are now looking for a Head of Revenue to land a professional successful career with them.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Prepare ancillary sale strategies and action plans to achieve revenue targets;
  • Closely monitor and analyze ancillary product performance to maximize revenue;
  • Optimize the fee and charge levels, with evaluation of competitive changes and customer demands;
  • Be the focal point for product related ideas generated throughout the business;
  • Ensure all elements of the business are well controlled and comply with corporate Governance and legal requirements, including contracts and agreements;
  • Negotiate partnerships with ancillary partners such as caterers, insurance firms, hotels, tour operator, car rental etc;
  • Work with Marketing, Sales and business development team to implement and optimize ancillary sales and across other channels;
  • Work with Operations to implement and optimize agreed product specification, ensuring continual work flow and alignment with brand;
  • Generate weekly reports and monitor delivery against the customer experience;
  • Establish Ancillaries & Product Department for the airline;
  • Prepare and implement written departmental processes and procedures;
  • Manage staff & workload to ensure that the department operates at maximum efficiency within deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Masters degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record;
  • Advanced degree or MBA is preferred
  • Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in your past positions
  • Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Have ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • International knowledge airline business
  • Experience in all position minimum 5 years up
  • English/ Chinese communication is perfect
