Job Description
The Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Anatomy & Physiology Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of anatomical and physiological concepts, enabling students to gain a comprehensive understanding of the human body. This position requires a commitment to fostering an engaging and interactive learning environment that promotes student success and critical thinking skills. This position is Mondays and Wednesdays from 1pm to 5:30pm. There is also a position on Tuesdays and Thursdays 1pm-5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging curriculum for Anatomy & Physiology courses in alignment with academic standards.
- Facilitate interactive lectures and practical demonstrations to enhance student understanding.
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in anatomy and physiology to inform course content.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and curriculum review processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Anatomy, Physiology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students and faculty.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning approaches.
