Anaplan Systems Analyst | Finance

Our client, a leading financial services organisation with a global reach is seeking an Anaplan Systems Analyst to support their Group Finance Function through the period of rapid expansion.

You will be responsible for managing and optimising financial planning and analysis processes using the Anaplan platform. You will work closely with finance and business teams to gather requirements and develop systems improvement, streamline processes, test strategies and workflows.

The Role:

• Configure and maintain the Anaplan platform to meet the organisation's business needs.
• Develop and implement Anaplan models, dashboards, and reports.
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into Anaplan system solutions.
• Create and optimise Anaplan models and implement best practices for model architecture.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Streamline and optimise existing processes.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively utilise the Anaplan platform.
• Maintain documentation for Anaplan models, processes, and configurations.
• Keep records of changes and updates.
• Perform regular system testing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and model reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Anaplan solutions with overall business objectives.

The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems or related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst with a focus on financial systems and tools.
• Strong expertise in Anaplan platform configuration and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
