As an Anaplan Solution Architect you Own the technical architecture, administration, and governance of the Siemens Anaplan tenant: workspace and model landscape, security, ALM, and integration patterns as a platform-engineer role.

We are looking for: Anaplan Platform Architect

You’ll break new ground by:

• Design workspace and model architecture (naming conventions, model landscape, list/module structure) for a new tenant
• Configure and govern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) across Dev → Test → Production model lines
• Define and implement the security model (roles, selective access, workspace/model administration)
• Choose and justify proper calculation engine per model based on sparsity/scale, in consultation with the delivery team building the model
• Set up and maintain data integration patterns (Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, APIs) between Anaplan and source systems
• Establish build standards, naming conventions, and a reusable model-development playbook that functional/delivery consultants must follow
• Own tenant-level capacity, performance, and technical risk monitoring
• Review model and UX designs submitted by functional and delivery consultants for architectural soundness, performance, and standard compliance.
• Advise delivery teams on modeling and calculation trade-offs (e.g., sparsity, list design, aggregation strategy) so they build correctly within the platform's constraints.
• Act as the technical escalation point when a business model runs into platform-level issues (performance, ALM conflicts, security gaps)
• Keep the build playbook and platform documentation current as Anaplan's product and Siemens' use case portfolio evolve
• Measure platform success: Establish and track relevant KPIs across adoption, customer satisfaction, reliability, time-to-value, compliance, cost efficiency, and business impact.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field/similar quantitative field/equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication and mediation skills
• 3+ years hands-on Anaplan implementation experience.
• Prior hands-on experience building Anaplan models and UX (lists, modules, calculation logic, dashboards, Boards).
• Demonstrated experience owning platform and architecture setup specifically: tenant design, ALM, security
• Strong grasp of Anaplan calculation logic, dimensionality, and performance design, applied at an architectural/review level.
• Experience with Anaplan ALM in a multi-model, multi-environment landscape.
• Experience with Anaplan integrations (Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, PlanIQ a plus).
• Comfortable setting standards and pushing back on delivery teams when designs don't meet platform guardrails.
• Clear communicator, able to explain architecture trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
