Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

• Graduate of computer science (focus in databases, data modelling, analytics) or Economic studies (Finance, Accounting, Cybernetics)
• Anaplan Model Builder certification
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience delivering Anaplan solutions across implementation, enhancement, or application support engagements.
• Practical Anaplan model-building experience, including lists, modules, line items, formulas, imports, exports, actions, processes, and user access. Good understanding of dimensional modelling, data structures, data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting in Anaplan.
• Experience translating business requirements and spreadsheet-based processes into scalable, multi-dimensional Anaplan models and user experiences. Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, UAT, defect analysis, and resolution.
• Ability to troubleshoot model, data, integration, access, and performance issues and provide clear, timely support to users and project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a technical mindset and close attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage business users, technical colleagues, and client stakeholders.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. High attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to prioritize to ensure work is done in a timely and high-quality manner.
• Ability to balance competing priorities
• Fluent in English and able to work effectively both independently and within geographically distributed teams.
• AI savy – curious on how Anaplan implementation could be integrated with AI tools

Nice to have:

• Solution Architect certification or progress toward advanced Anaplan certification is an advantage.
• Experience across multiple phases of an Anaplan delivery lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and ongoing support.
• Subject matter expertise in planning and modeling for Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR.
• Has been part of planning, budgeting and forecasting (PBF) application implementation projects OR involved in PBF processes as a SME (e.g.: FP&A, Financial Controller, Logistics Planner, Sales Planner, Workforce Planner etc.)
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, PMP / Prince etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology (e.g. Agile)
• Exposure to Anaplan integrations using CloudWorks, ADO, Anaplan Connect, APIs, ETL tools etc.
• Exposure to other EPM or planning platforms is beneficial, but the role is primarily focused on Anaplan delivery and support ((SAP BPC / SAP IBP/ Analytics Cloud, Oracle Hyperion / EPM Cloud, IBM Cognos TM1, Tagetik, OneStream/ Board/ Pigment etc.), or non-financial planning budgeting and forecasting applications (JDE, OMP, O9, Kinaxis,…).

Your future role

• Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models by partnering with client’s stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, HR etc.)
• Build and/or modify existing Anaplan models as part of a connected solution, optimization, to incorporate new functionality or to integrate with other systems.
• Develop model documentation to support requirements gathering, design solution and successful deployment.
• Provide meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the business owner and project team.
• Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment.
• Provide hands-on training to end users of Anaplan models and processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments & trends related to the Anaplan platform.
