Join us as an Analytics Platform Lead – VP at Barclays, you will build and maintain the Advanced Analytics Platform, enabling efficient, governed model development, monitoring, training, deployment and delivery through self-service capabilities. You will deliver advanced analytics capabilities across AWS, Kubernetes, OpenShift and on-premises environments, using automation and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
Experience in data platform engineering, preferably in financial sector
Solid understanding of complex enterprise organisational infrastructure and architecture environments
Understanding of AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Infrastructure automation skills (Chef)
Core programming languages: Java / Scala or Python
Strong understanding of systems and applications associated with Cloud and containerisation
Solid experience in environments such as UNIX, Windows, Storage, Middleware, Networks, Security, or Systems Management
Demonstrable experience of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Bitbucket/Gitlab, Nexus, and working knowledge of CI / CD toolchains

AWS Architecture or Engineering certification
Experience with containerization
Databricks, Starburst
Exposure to Hadoop Core Concepts
