Analytics & Metrology Technician II

The Role:

Entegris is seeking1stshift Quality Technicianfor KSP facility.The Quality Technician will provide laboratory support forproductionof our Micro-Contamination Control and Membrane products as well as for R&D development testing. The QA technician mainlysupportsthe soaking tests offiltertoeliminatecase backlog.Andprepare and test samples usingICP MS,Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis,Titration, NVR,LC-CAD, and GC-FID/MS

In this role you will:

• Supportthe application and manufactureteamsinthe filter soakingandsampling

• Carry out routine tasks accurately andfollowstandard operating procedures to carry out analyses.

• Prepare analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used intestingprocess.

• Review and report data with assistance from Analytical Chemists.

• Perform daily checks on instrumentation and perform basic troubleshooting on testing equipment.

• Keep equipment in a clean and serviceable condition and ensure the safe removal of wastein accordance withcompanyestablishedsafety procedures.

• Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced and that everything is clearly and correctly labelled.

• Handle customer requests appropriately andin a timely manner

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• BS Degree of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.

• Over 1 year working experience as an Analytical technician orminimum ofdegree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline with no experience.

• High attention to detailis key to success in this role.

• Good communicationand teamwork skills.

• Able to follow instructions and strictly follow procedures.

• Previousexperience in a laboratory environmentis preferred.

• Some exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
