Job Description

Natural Cycles° is a leading women’s health company that developed the world’s first birth control app, used by millions globally. We are a fast growing startup, and we promote an international working environment filled with smart and ambitious colleagues based in Stockholm, Geneva, New York, and remotely. Our mission is to pioneer women’s health through research and passion, empowering every woman with the knowledge she needs to take charge of her health.

Natural Cycles is scaling both user and revenue growth across its international markets, and we need a single trusted view of how that growth actually happens. As Analytics Lead you will own how we measure, understand and optimise performance across the entire funnel — from acquisition and activation to retention and monetisation — and turn complex data into decisions the business acts on.

Analytics is a recognised capability gap at Natural Cycles, so the remit is broad and yours to shape: own performance measurement, attribution and media-mix modelling across markets today, and grow it into the wider insight capability the company does not yet have. Your work will directly shape how we invest across paid, owned and organic channels, with a relentless focus on CAC, LTV, payback and unit economics.

The role is roughly 80% hands-on analysis and 20% commercial storytelling. You will work for the UK GM as an analytical business partner along with other regional leads.

Mission

Give Natural Cycles a single trusted view of how growth happens — owning performance measurement, attribution and media-mix modelling across markets, and growing it into the wider insight capability the company does not yet have.

What you will be doing

Measurement foundations & data integrity

  • Own the definitions — one agreed way to count new sign-ups, new paying users and cost per acquisition — and retire the competing versions.
  • Connect the data warehouse to the tools the business uses, so daily numbers stop depending on a manual export.
  • Find, fix and document the faults that make figures untrustworthy — double-counted attribution, inconsistent market coding, and metrics that cannot validly be divided by one another.

Attribution & media-mix measurement

  • Own attribution end to end: assess, select and implement the approach, including the business case for any new tooling.
  • Build media-mix modelling and incrementality testing (geo experiments, lift studies) and use them to guide budget allocation within and across markets.
  • Establish which conversions are genuinely driven by paid media, and produce a defensible view of blended versus paid-only cost per acquisition.

Performance analytics across the funnel

  • Measure the acquisition funnel end to end, from first impression to first payment, across paid media, organic, CRM and owned channels.
  • Analyse user behaviour across app and web to uncover insights that improve conversion, engagement and retention.
  • Extend measurement into activation, retention and referral, supporting the shift of the North Star toward returning paying users.

Reporting & tooling

  • Build and maintain scalable dashboards, reporting and analytical models using tools such as Snowflake, Mixpanel and Tableau.
  • Give every report a named reader and a single question it answers.

Business partnering & commercial storytelling

  • Act as analytical business partner to regional leads, translating commercial questions into analysis and analysis back into decisions.
  • Present findings to the senior team in plain commercial language — including when the honest answer is that a number cannot yet be established.
  • Partner with finance on unit economics — lifetime value, payback period and contribution margin.

Cross-functional & quality

  • Work with performance marketing, brand, CRM, organic, product analytics, finance and the regional teams to keep definitions consistent across markets.
  • Contribute, as every employee does, to maintaining and improving the quality system to comply with all applicable regulations and standards, especially ISO 13485.

What skills and experience we think you have

  • A technically very strong, hands-on analyst — the core of the role. Fluent SQL and confident in a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery), a product analytics platform (Mixpanel) and BI tools (Tableau, Looker). You can take a raw transactional dataset and derive the numbers yourself — revenue by market, new paying users by month, trial-to-paid conversion, channel attribution from discount codes — not just read a dashboard.
  • Deep performance-marketing analytics: media-mix modelling, attribution and incrementality testing (geo experiments, lift studies, MMM), and a strong command of CAC, LTV, payback and unit economics.
  • Full-funnel understanding across acquisition, activation, retention and monetisation, across app and web. Typically 6+ years in growth, marketing or product analytics, ideally in a subscription or app business.
  • A commercial storyteller as well as an analyst — turns a dataset into a clear recommendation for non-technical and C-level audiences, with sound judgement about certainty.
  • Hands-on and operational, comfortable building foundations that do not yet exist. Open on seniority, with level and title set to the individual. Based in Stockholm, London or Berlin; relocation support available. Fluent English.

What we offer

  • Flexible work arrangement - you will be part of a team based in and around Stockholm that values effective collaboration and transparent communication, irrespective of work location
  • Professional development - you will collaborate with industry leading developers, promoting continuous growth and skill enhancement
  • Modern technology - you will leverage innovative technologies and tools, within an environment that empowers you to contribute ideas and take ownership of your work
  • Impactful projects - you will contribute to groundbreaking projects that redefine industry standards and create tangible value
  • Commitment to quality - you will join a dynamic and progressive organization that prioritizes profitable, long-term product development

Location

We are remote-friendly, but we find great value in being able to connect with our teams in person. Most of the team you will work with is located in Stockholm.

Sounds interesting?

If you want to be part of a successful team, we encourage you to apply for this position as soon as possible.

We look forward to hearing from you!

About Natural Cycles°

We have developed the only digital method of birth control cleared by regulators both in the US and in Europe. Effective, natural, and backed by clinical research - Natural Cycles has been cleared by the US FDA and CE marked in Europe. Today we have a growing user base, who are happy to have found a method of birth control that is right for them and that allows them to get to know their bodies and cycles. No matter what your choice is, we believe that every woman should know that understanding how your cycle works matters.

Natural Cycles was created when our founders, Elina and Raoul, were in search of an effective method of natural birth control. Their journey took them from physics straight into health tech for women. The couple were unsatisfied with what they found, so they decided to apply their experience and knowledge in advanced mathematics and data analysis to develop a solution to meet their needs. This turned out to be an algorithm that detects and predicts ovulation and fertility.

In the early days, they used the algorithm for their own purposes but quickly realized that there was a vast unmet need for this type of method. They decided to develop a mobile app so women from all over the world could easily access and use Natural Cycles.

Our company has been up and running since 2013 and has been rapidly growing since our CE certification in February 2017. At Natural Cycles we are always looking for passionate talents to help us strive for change in such a complex, scientific, and controversial field. We have women's best interest at heart and work hard every single day to ensure that we provide the best possible solution. That’s why each and every team member is passionate about what we do.

Gathered from all corners of the world we are a tight-knit international team located right in the center of beautiful Stockholm. If you would like to join us, check our open job positions below, go ahead and connect with us.
