The Albertsons Customer Team Insights Leader is a pivotal role within P&G's Customer Team, enabling our strategic partnership with Albertsons Companies. This role is responsible for driving a Consumer First mindset that translates complex shopper and market data into actionable insights, enabling our P&G sales and category teams to win with the Albertsons shopper. You will be instrumental in enhancing selling effectiveness, influencing Albertsons' strategies for our brands, and unlocking new growth opportunities across our P&G portfolio within their retail channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with passion and curiosity for uncovering consumer motivations, a strong analytical aptitude, and the ability to articulate compelling, data-driven stories that drive P&G and Albertsons' mutual success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Shopper Insights to Enable Next-Level Selling & Customer Influence (with Albertsons): Act as the primary expert and driver of shopper insights for the P&G Albertsons Customer Team. Empower the team to develop more effective selling strategies and influence Albertsons' decision-making related to P&G brands at all levels.
• Own the Ongoing Consumer Learning Plan Aligned to Team Strategies/JBP and Selling Priorities (for Albertsons): Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive consumer learning plan specifically tailored to support the P&G Albertsons Customer Team's annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and key selling priorities with Albertsons. Identify critical knowledge gaps regarding the Albertsons shopper and design research initiatives to address them.
• Develop Insight-Led Stories for Top-to-Tops, Summits, and Multi-Year Planning Sessions (with Albertsons): Create and deliver impactful, insight-led presentations and narratives for high-level meetings with Albertsons, including Top-to-Tops, Summits, and Multi-Year Planning sessions. Ensure a strong P&G brand and consumer voice is represented in strategic discussions with our retail partner.
• Act as the Champion for Consumer First through Shopper and Market Trends (at Albertsons): Be the internal champion for a Consumer First mindset within the P&G Albertsons Customer Team and across relevant P&G functions. Proactively identify, analyze, and disseminate key shopper behaviors, emerging trends, and broader market dynamics specifically impacting P&G's business with Albertsons.
• Own Shopper Insights Capabilities and Resources Across the Customer Team (for Albertsons): Manage and optimize the suite of P&G's shopper insights tools, data sources, and methodologies specifically relevant to understanding the Albertsons shopper. Partner with IT to ensure teams have access to data in an easily usable format Ensure the P&G Albertsons Customer Team has access to best-in-class resources for their market.
• Partner with Category Teams to Unlock Growth Opportunities through Shopper Insights (with Albertsons): Collaborate closely with internal P&G Category Teams (e.g., Marketing, Brand Management, Category Management) to identify and prioritize growth opportunities for P&G brands within the Albertsons ecosystem. Leverage shopper insights to inform P&G category strategies, brand innovation, and promotional effectiveness with Albertsons.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working directly with major retail customers (e.g., Albertsons, Walmart, Kroger) or within a customer-facing insights role is essential. Experienced leader with the ability to lead independently, manage multiple priorities and the ability to influence internally (Albertsons Lead Team ) and executive level external stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, capable of balancing P&G objectives with retailer needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with both internal P&G stakeholders and external Albertsons contacts.
• Strong understanding of various research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative) and analytical techniques and the ability to synthesize insights across multiple sources
• Proficiency in utilizing syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Circana) and consumer panel data, with a focus on how it applies to a specific retail customer like Albertsons.
• Experience with automation/AI capability creation is a plus
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional storytelling ability, with demonstrated experience translating complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for diverse audiences, including senior retail partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools is a plus.

Ideal location for the role is co-located with the team in the Boise Sales Office. Our second preference is to locate the role in Cincinnati, with some Albertsons team members.

Starting Pay/Salary Range: $110,000 –$165,300

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
