In A&I, we combine analytics and insights to shape business strategy, product innovation, pricing, media investments, retail execution, and go-to-market plans.

We use our boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it, and how we can influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis, and good research. We use state of the art analytics tools to dig deep in the data, identifying key business drivers and assessing the impact of investments like advertising and in store promotions. We use big data sources and analytics to understand consumers, markets, and retailers.

The Opportunity:

As a member of the Analytics & Insights (A&I) team, you will serve as a trusted and influential internal business strategy consultant, ensuring that consumer and shopper insights are at the heart of business decisions and execution. Working closely with cross-functional partners across Brand Management, Finance, Sales, R&D, and other teams, you will identify and unlock new opportunities for business growth. Success in this role requires a unique blend of analytical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and integrative thinking to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for key stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to explore the complexity of human behavior—from understanding decision-making processes and cognitive science to analyzing large datasets that reveal insights shaping P&G’s business strategies. Along the way, you will continuously expand your expertise by learning from internal and external thought leaders, exploring innovative approaches, and sharing knowledge across the A&I community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Diving into data sets to understand brand, business, and customer performance in market along with key business drivers.
  • Utilizing Nielsen data to draw insights of performance to inform and make optimization recommendations to accelerate the business.
  • Develop consumer insights through qualitative and quantitative learnings to guide brand business decisions and innovation.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field (Operation Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Management/Business Information Systems, or related degree).
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Previous experience with data management and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, KNIME, Alterix, Tableau, Spotfire, or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of Market research techniques (Quantitative/Qualitative), Data platforms (e.g. Retail/Household panels), Analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, KNIME, Python/R)
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite- Excel (pivots, formulas, charts), Powerpoint (slides visualization), Word (Written summaries and recommendations)
  • Experience using JMP, or other statistical software
  • Experience using visualization software and tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, or Tableau
  • Proven mastery of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and insight translation.
  • Ability to travel at least up to 20% domestically.
  • Ability to work on-site 3 days a week based on business in our Cincinnati, OH office.

Preferred:

  • Experience with FMCG/CPG, Media, Ecom industry analytics
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) data systems, syndicated scanner data (Nielsen/IRI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python, R, SQL)
  • Previous knowledge with big sources of data including Nielsen, Kantar & Numerator.
  • Experience working with a CPG company, brand, or client
  • Experience or curiosity with AI, and tech‑enabled research approaches.
