Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Analytics Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions that transform raw data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build efficient data pipelines, optimize database performance, and create compelling visualizations that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

  • Design and develop SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses and data lakes
  • Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
  • Create and optimize data models and database schemas to support analytical and reporting requirements
  • Develop interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Perform statistical analysis and data interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, query execution, and data pipeline efficiency
  • Document data processes, transformations, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing and compliance
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and implement solutions to maintain data integrity
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and engineering

Qualifications

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL with demonstrated experience writing complex queries and optimizing performance
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of database management systems, data modeling, and schema design
  • Experience developing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Solid grasp of statistical analysis and data interpretation methodologies
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms
  • Background in data engineering or related technical fields
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
  • Experience with data quality frameworks and validation techniques

Additional Information

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
