Make a difference as Senior Analytics Engineer

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you design,buildandmaintainhighquality data models and analytics products that enableself-serviceBI anddata drivendecision making across Enza Zaden worldwide. You translate complex business and strategic requirements into reliable, scalable data solutions and take ownership of their full life cycle.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop,testandmaintainadvanced data models and analytics productson the global data platform (e.g.Databricks,dbt, Power BI).

• Lead complex analytics and reporting initiativeswith amidtolong-termhorizon.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into sound,scalableandwell governedsolutions

• Continuously improve data quality, reliability,performanceand cost efficiencythrough effective lifecycle management.

• Ensure data productscomply witharchitecture,securityand access management standards, in close cooperation with Architecture, Security and IT.

• Contribute to user enablement,trainingand knowledge sharing, and functionally coach less experienced colleagues.

Your team,stakeholdersand workplace

You report to the Analytics & Reporting Managerand are part of the Data Analytics & Reporting (DAR) team. You work closely with fellow analytics engineers, product owners, data consumers, SDP D&Pcolleaguesand IT specialists such as architects and security experts. The role has a global scopeand offersa high levelof autonomy in an international, collaborative working environment.

What you bring as a future colleague

• University working and thinking level (WO / Master) with 6–8 years of relevant experiencein analytics,reportingor data engineering.

• In-depthknowledge of analytics and reporting methods, datamodellingand data transformations.

• Stronghands-onexperience with Azure (DP203), Databricks, SQL,dbt, Power BI,DAXand Git

• Proven experience with DevOps practices, including version control, testing and CI/CD for data products.

• Strong communicationskills and the ability to align,influenceand persuade stakeholdersacross departments.

• A clear understanding of scalability, architectureprinciplesand data platform lifecycle management

• A collaborative,team focusedmindset with natural leadership and coaching skills

You are comfortable working highly independently, take ownership of complexchallengesand know how to guide others in using data more effectively. You think strategically, act pragmatically and help move the organization forward in its data maturity.
