Due to continued growth, Babcock is seeking an Analytics Developer to join our expanding IT team. Reporting to the IXI & Application Services Team Leader, this role will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights that support business performance, operational excellence, and our commitment to ensuring everyone gets Home Safe Every Day. With a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) data, you will develop innovative analytics and reporting solutions that empower leaders to make informed decisions, enhance safety outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, including the Australasian Information Exploitation team and HSE function, you will design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, SSIS, SharePoint and Excel. You'll translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards, reports and analytical insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting key operational and strategic objectives.
You'll also play a key role in maintaining and enhancing Babcock's reporting and analytics environment, ensuring data quality, system performance and governance standards are upheld. Your work will directly support safety performance monitoring, employee wellbeing initiatives, occupational health programs and compliance reporting, helping to create safer outcomes for our people.
