What would you do? We help insurers redefine their customer experience while accelerating their innovation agenda to drive sustainable growth by transforming to an intelligent operating model. Intelligent Insurance Operations combines our advisory, technology, and operations expertise, global scale, and robust ecosystem with our insurance transformation capabilities. It is structured to address the scope and complexity of the ever-changing insurance environment and offers a flexible operating model that can meet the unique needs of each market segment.
You would be part of General Insurance team for Actuarial Domain, In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems for General insurance team. Performed analysis, validation of client data and making it ready for the valuation purpose after making all the reasonability checks. Performed sensitivity analysis by varying different assumptions to get a measure how much liability changes in case assumptions got changed.
Understanding and management of property and casualty insurance companies that provide insurance against the loss of real property, tangible assets and/or income.
What are we looking for? • Minimum 4-7 years of hands-on experience of using Snowflake, AWS, Python & SQL for data analysis or data science projects
• Very good understanding of reporting, analytical and data management methods
• Strong problem solving ability - Candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, Analytical skills and Process orientation.
• Able to process large datasets using tools like SQL & Python to analyze and create insights.
• Hands-on experience in data analytics, Project management and development.
• Strong in reporting, Visualization and Automation
• Experience in processing large datasets using tools like SAS, SQL & Python / R to analyze and create insights.
• Able to conduct strong quality control analyses to ensure data quality and integrity
• Able to create dashboards on Power BI & other web based platforms will be an added advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skill
• Work with stakeholders to gather business requirement and leverage analytical experience to suggest feasibility and technical approaches to fulfill the requirement.
• Identify and present analytical findings and opportunities for continues improvements to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work on ad-hocs reports within aggressive timeline.
• Design, build, validate and deliver new reports, dashboards, KPIs and data narratives to the business stakeholder.
• Ability to Identify, analyze and interpret trends and patterns in data using various techniques to meet business needs.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements; automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data needs.
• Data extraction from various DB sources through programs to read, write and update the database efficiently.
