Analytical Technician II

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking an Analytical Technician IIto join our ESC Advanced Coatingteam, based in our Bedford, MAfacility.

In this role you will support analytical measurements for manufacturing processes and new productintroductionacross the Material Solutions Division of Entegris. The role will involveoperatingseveral analytical techniques on thin film metrology. Instrumentation includes optical thickness measurements,modulusand hardness measurements, nanoindentation, scratch adhesion, profilometer, scanning electron microscopy Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy, optical/confocalmicroscopyand others.

The ideal candidate will be results-oriented and an excellent team player, with knowledge of thin film/coating metrology.

WhatYou’llDo

• Safely perform routine surface/thin film analysis to support existing products, new product development and internal and external customer requests  

• Run MSA studies for detection limits, accuracy, precision and stability for analytical methods  

• Design, set up, and execute experiments; analyze data and communicate results to the team  

• Maintain and support lab practicesperrelevant ISO 17025 and 9001 requirements 

• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation 

WhatWeSeek

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, MechanicalEngineering ,Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, MaterialScienceor related field is highly preferred 

• Experience in analytical instrument operation, data analysis and method development  

• Team player attitude with a desire for excellence and continuous improvement  

• Flexible - ability to rapidly respond to new situations and perform multiple tasks 

• Certifications or training in Six Sigma, Semi, ISO, etc., are a plus

• Compensation: $52,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills
