MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Operations Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our Middle Office team supporting Fixed Income, Equity, Multi-Asset strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing investment operations activities, managing critical relationships with outsourced service providers and custodians, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of investment transactions and reporting.
This role offers exposure to global investment teams and provides opportunities to participate in operational transformation initiatives, process automation, and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Operations & Trade Support
•Support the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including trade capture, affirmation, settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, cash management, and reporting.
•Monitor daily trade activity across Fixed Income, Equity, FX, Derivatives, and Multi-Asset portfolios.
•Investigate and resolve trading, settlement, cash, position, and market value exceptions.
•Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly client and management reports, including:
oTrade blotters
oHoldings reports
oCash projection reports
oOpen FX exposure reports
•Manage collateral and margin processes for FX forwards and derivative positions.
•Monitor daily cash movements and support liquidity management activities.
•Review portfolio holdings, pricing, and valuation reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Oversight & Control
• Act as a key oversight contact for outsourced middle office service providers and custodians.
• Monitor trade settlements, reconciliations, income processing, corporate actions, and asset servicing activities.
• Escalate operational risks, service issues, and control exceptions in a timely manner.
• Support the execution of operational controls and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in client audits, internal audits, and due diligence reviews where required. Exception Management & Problem Resolution
• Proactively investigate and resolve operational breaks across cash, positions, settlements, pricing, and accounting.
• Partner with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, Client Service, Custodians, Brokers, and External Vendors to resolve issues efficiently.
• Serve as an escalation point for operational incidents and client-impacting events.
• Ensure all inquiries and requests are managed professionally and resolved within agreed service standards. Process Improvement & Automation
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, controls, and scalability.
• Participate in automation and process transformation initiatives utilizing tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, VBA, Aladdin, Bloomberg, and other investment management platforms.
• Document and maintain operational procedures and process maps.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives involving system upgrades, platform implementations, and operating model enhancements.


Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
• 3-7 years of experience within Asset Management, with a focus on Middle Office or Investment Operations functions and a strong understanding of the end-to-end investment lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization, including senior management.
• Ability to quickly understand complex business processes, identify risks, and implement practical solutions.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across global teams and managing internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools; experience with Bloomberg, Aladdin and investment management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, derivatives, trade settlement, reconciliations, and corporate actions would be advantageous.
