• Handle license applications, regulatory filings and reports
• Assist with the development, implementation and administration of the Group compliance framework and policies
• Conduct monitoring and surveillance of trading activities to detect and prevent market abuse, insider trading and other violations
• Investigate and resolve alerts generated by trade surveillance systems, and escalate any potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders
• Work on regional projects including system UAT, new investment models discussion, or system development
• Conduct or assist with ad-hoc inspections and regulatory requests

Requirements

• University graduate with major in Business, Finance or Law;
• At least 2 years of experience in compliance, preferably in brokerage or asset management firms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to details
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
• Proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions. Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite Excel, Bloomberg
• Proficient in Python, or VBA is a plus
• Fluent in English and Japanese
