Corporate Finance Solutions is part of the Group Corporates division. We are responsible for structuring complex project finance loan solutions and we work closely with account managers and product teams in all countries where Erste Group is present.

You will be a member of a dynamic and international team of product experts, which originates structures and executes mandates for energy, industrial and infrastructure projects in the CEE region based on either conventional project finance structures as wells as PPP schemes.

Your Tasks

  • Contributing to origination efforts vis-a-vis top notch corporate clients and infra investors including preparing client pitches and taking part in client meetings
  • Building and maintaining complex Excel based financial models, developing financing cases and running respective sensitivities
  • Preparing and contributing credit applications and briefing materials for senior management as part of your daily routine (with guidance by superiors)
  • Supporting the execution of high profile, complex project finance transactions (bilateral and syndicated), including reviewing mandate and loan documentation (with guidance by superiors)
  • Taking part in communication with project sponsors, advisors and other syndication partners and contributing in the marketing activities of Erste Group
  • Working in interdisciplinary and multinational transaction teams across different Erste Group geographies, product and coverage units
  • Monitoring and reviewing existing portfolio assets, composing reports and managing risks

Your Background

  • Completed university degree in finance, business, economics, law or similar with a study focus on banking & finance or corporate finance
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and deal structures, combined with a high willingness and ability to learn quickly with a strong attention to detail
  • 1-3 years working experience in project/structured finance, corporate banking, risk management, M&A and debt advisory or similar
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in German and English

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 46.276,58 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
