Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal Sanofi resource organization based in India and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions​. SBO strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations​ in Sanofi, globally.

The Analyst, Tender Data Management plays a critical role in supporting Sanofi's commercial and market access operations by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and availability of tender-related data across markets. This position sits at the intersection of data management, business intelligence, and commercial strategy, enabling informed decision-making that ultimately supports patient access to Sanofi's portfolio of medicines and vaccines.

As a key contributor within the Tender Management function, the Analyst will be responsible for collecting, validating, and maintaining tender data, generating actionable insights, and collaborating cross-functionally to support successful tender submissions and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The overall purpose and main responsibilities are listed below:

• Data Stewardship: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of tender data — collection, validation, maintenance, and governance across assigned markets or therapeutic areas
• Analytical Support: Deliver actionable insights on tender outcomes, pricing trends, and competitive positioning to inform commercial and market access strategy
• Cross-functional Partnership: Act as the central data partner for commercial, pricing, and market access teams, enabling informed decision-making
• Tender Operations: Support the full tender lifecycle from preparation and submission through to compliance monitoring and archiving
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process excellence and digitalization within the tender data management function

Processes:

Responsibilities focused on workflows, systems, compliance, and operational execution

• Collect, consolidate, and maintain comprehensive tender data from internal and external sources
• Manage data entry and updates across tender management platforms and databases
• Maintain and continuously improve tender databases and data repositories
• Implement and monitor data quality controls, conducting regular audits
• Develop and enforce data governance standards and best practices
• Ensure data is stored in compliance with Sanofi's internal policies and applicable data protection regulations
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of tender submissions
• Monitor compliance with tender contractual obligations (volumes, pricing, reporting)
• Alert relevant stakeholders to upcoming deadlines, changes, or compliance risks
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation
• Identify inefficiencies and proactively propose and implement process improvements
• Contribute to the digitalization and automation of tender data processes

Performance

Responsibilities focused on outcomes, insights, KPIs, and strategic value delivery

• Validate data accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensure all tender-related information — pricing, volumes, timelines, award outcomes — is accurately recorded and up to date
• Analyse tender results, win/loss rates, pricing trends, and competitive positioning
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Track KPIs related to tender performance and contribute to strategic reviews

Stakeholder Engagement

Responsibilities focused on collaboration, communication, and human interaction

· Work closely with commercial, and market access colleagues to provide data-driven support for tender strategy development

· Serve as a reliable data partner, responding to information requests and providing analytical support for business decisions

· Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute tender data insights to broader commercial discussions

· Liaise with regional and global teams to ensure alignment on data standards, reporting formats, and tender processes

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary inputs and approvals within defined timelines

· Support the onboarding and training of new team members on tender data tools and processes

Required Qualifications

Education

• Advanced degree in areas such as Management/Statistics/Decision Sciences/Engineering/Life Sciences/ Business Analytics or related field (e.g., PhD / MBA / Masters)

Experience

• • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in data management, business analysis, market access, or a related function.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with public tender processes or government procurement frameworks is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling, macros).
• Experience working with databases and data management tools (e.g., SQL, Access, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Soft skills

Strong learning agility; Ability to manage ambiguous environments, and to adapt to changing needs of the business; Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong presentation skills is a must; Team player who is curious, dynamic, result oriented; Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment, with ability to work across time zones; Demonstrated leadership and management in driving innovation and automation leveraging advanced analytical techniques

Languages Excellent English communication skills – written and spoken
