Job Description

Responsible for the technical implementation of pricing programs for the Royal Caribbean brand. Collaborates closely with the Promotions Strategy team and the Revenue Management Product Teams to design and develop pricing initiatives. Ensures all pricing is accurately and effectively reflected within the reservation system (AS400). Oversee pricing setup and maintenance in the AS400, driving efficiencies and developing technical solutions that address end‑user needs, improve productivity, and scale to support the brand’s significant capacity growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • In partnership with Revenue Management domestic and global product teams, leading the creation and execution of strategic and tactical price programs and promotions within the AS400 reservation system and the Business Rules Management System (BRMS) for global markets across multiple currencies.
    • Prepares option code requests and collaborates with Accounting and Trade Support Operations to establish codes in AS400 and BRMS.
    • Generates push reports and ad‑hoc analyses for pricing and promotions; serves as the primary technical point of contact for pricing programs in AS400.
    • Manage off-tariff pricing programs, including cruise certificates, Seminars at Sea, and Net Rate programs.
    • Produces reporting for Revenue Management, Sales, Hotel Operations, and global markets, such as One‑Stop reports and qualified promotional guest data for ships.
    • Develop new pricing for the Deployment process and opens rates in all applicable currencies. Research, pilots, and implements cost‑effective solutions to streamline the entry and management of price programs and promotions, driving industry‑leading efficiency in Revenue Management.
    • Supports revenue teams in the Pricing & Promotions system and performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • Associate’s degree from a two‑year college or technical school, or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel & Hyperion.
  • Extensive knowledge of the AS400 system preferred
    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
