The Analyst Supply Optimization position through strict adherence to the Daily Management System (DMS) standards and processes is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Kanban program to ensure the system is functioning at optimal efficiency. The position performs analysis and maintenance on Kanban nodes addressing customer needs in a timely and precise manner. Reviews Kanban supply performance and implements required changes as necessary in collaboration with customer department leadership.
Licensure or other certifications: Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack within 30 days of hire.
Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience: One(1) to two (2) years Hospital Supply Chain logistics experience. One (1) to three (3) years experience analyzing data to solve complex supply inefficiencies.

Familiarity with MS Office applications Excel,Outlook, Word to conduct analysis of supply distribution data and apply findings to problem resolution and create efficiencies in the process.
Posses knowledge and ability to extract data from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Daily Management Systems (DMS).
Unrelentingly detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize work.
Able to work individually with minimal supervision or as a team.
Possess professional interpersonal skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel
Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (hospital environment – warehouse, clinical areas, etc.).
Knowledge of medical supply terminology.
Possess technical skills to operate pc and hand-held devices.
Proactively extracts and analyzes data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and daily management system (DMS) to identify supply efficiency opportunities.
Utilize the daily management system (DMS) Dashboard for daily work and creating reports for clinical and support teams as needed – ad hoc and analysis-driven.
Perform regular audits of Kanban nodes and resolve identified discrepancies.
Manage customer requests and concerns through the QCN process.
Retrofit equipment based on supply area need including but not limited to building carts, cable-tying/cutting, and using other hand-held power tools.
Supports the Lead Analyst Supply Optimization team in the planning and building supply nodes.
Uphold and follow standard work processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure self and team are adequately trained.
Communicates and negotiates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions and seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction. Distributes, collects, and analyzes customer satisfaction surveys
Sweep, straighten and generally keep work-spaces clean and tidy, adhering to the tenets of lean methodologies and 5S.
Consistently communicate with leadership on all status updates, required resources and assistance, barriers, and all other applicable instances. Participate in regular team huddles to ensure Kanban operations are meeting the needs of the end-user community and continuously improving.
Support a safe working environment including compliance with all regulatory requirements and all other hospital, state, and federal safety policies.
