We’re seeking a SCRM Analyst to join the Illuminations team within Exiger Government Solutions (EGS), supporting deep-dive investigative research into supply chain risk across federal and mission-driven programs. This is an early-career, high-growth role ideal for analytically curious individuals who are passionate about national security, global supply chains, and data-driven research. You will contribute to high-impact analytical work and develop the skills to independently deliver client-ready insights over time.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct deep-dive research on suppliers, sectors, technologies, and federal programs related to supply chain risk
  • Analyze strategic industries such as microelectronics, defense, pharmaceuticals, and other critical sectors
  • Support investigations involving bill of materials (BOM), supplier ecosystems, ownership structures, and geographic risk exposure
  • Research risk factors including foreign influence, country risk, critical technologies, and supply chain dependencies
  • Contribute to cyber SCRM investigations involving software vendors and broader software supply chain risk
  • Use SQL, Excel, internal data sources, and AI-enabled tools to gather and analyze information
  • Develop written deliverables, presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into clear, decision-ready insights
  • Support internal and customer briefings and grow toward independently presenting analytical outputs
  • Collaborate across teams and rapidly learn new tools, data sources, and workflows


What You Need:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, international affairs, national security, supply chain, data analytics, or related field
  • 0–3 years of experience, including internships, research roles, or academic work
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries independently
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Comfort learning and using AI-enabled tools in research and analysis
  • Strong written communication and analytical writing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to develop toward briefing responsibilities
  • Interest in national security, global supply chains, and investigative research
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis through coursework or internships
  • Experience creating presentations, reports, dashboards, or research deliverables
  • Exposure to consulting, research, government, think tanks, or market analysis environments
  • Interest in applying data tools to supply chain and national security challenges
  • Foreign language skills
  • Active security clearance or prior cleared experience
