Analyst, Strategy & Operations



The Analyst will the support the Vice President, Strategy & Operations and work alongside the Sr. Analyst, Strategy & Operations. The individual will be part of a high energy and fast paced environment. The role will support C-suite decisions through operations-focused analytics, financial / cash flow modeling in addition to M&A due diligence / pro forma analysis.

Essential Functions and Skills

Responsibilities

  • Providing operations support to Founder/CEO, President/CFO and VP of Strategy and Operations.
  • Designing and implementing decision-based analytics to impact the company’s initiatives and profitability.
  • Supporting financial and operational due diligence analysis on tuck-in M&A acquisition opportunities.
  • Forecasting financials/cash flow under various operating scenarios.
  • Developing and presenting executive-level memoranda, presentations, and detailed financial analyses to share with senior leadership.
  • Preparing presentations to the Board to update them on the company’s operations.
  • Modeling annual budget through input from regional leaders and corporate departments.
  • Performing ad hoc analyses to evaluate growth opportunities and support corporate initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree(s) a plus
  • Must have experience with the 3 financial statements (IS, CFS, BS); strength with modeling techniques a plus: 3 statement, DCF, QofE, etc.
  • Advanced capabilities with data in Excel; experience with other platforms a plus
  • 1+ years of M&A experience a plus (i.e. investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate M&A or private equity background).

  • Structured and Logical Thinking: The ideal candidate has the ability to present complex concepts/ideas in concise, easy-to-understand terms.
  • Analytical Rigor: Analytical, methodical, and rigorous approach; ability to independently take apart complex business issues, perform research and analyses.
  • Impactful Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with executive-level and cross-functional teams, both verbally and in writing. This candidate will be involved in managing the communication of the pipeline for de novo branches and potential acquisition opportunities, among other project-based communications.
  • Cultural Fit: The ideal candidate will have a “roll up your sleeves” mentality and should be willing to make mistakes with an appetite for feedback.
  • Financial Statement

    Experience: The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the three financial statements and have financial modeling experience.
  • Ability to pass DHS background study.

The annual salary range for this role is $115,000-$128,000/annually. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
