Responsibilities

The new Analyst will support Global Travel Collection’s strategic development and reporting teams by using dashboards to respond to internal data requests and provide insights. The analyst will also lead advisor air analysis to identify revenue opportunities to feed to the ASO. Finally, the analyst will support strategic development team through data validation exercises, maintaining databases and dashboards, and using dashboards to proactively provide management with GTC insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to data requests from internal stakeholders such as ASO data requests or partner team data requests • Respond to data requests from PR and Marketing teams to generate business insights for external audience PR or marketing • Proactively source and communicate key business insights to leadership based on booking trends and revenue trends • Lead air analysis to identify air growth opportunities amongst GTC advisors and feed opportunities to ASMs and ASDs • Complete ad-hoc pieces of data analysis linked to key strategic projects • Respond to advisor data requests as required • Support the development and delivery of training for end-users on PowerBI dashboards and other data visualization tools (eg Advisor OS, Salesforce) • Support strategic development team on maintaining and enhancing PowerBI dashboards • Support strategic development team on management of Salesforce database, including cleaning/reviewing data and inputting new data • Maintain related databases and tables in SQL, including those with financial information • Create automated reports or automation between different systems to generate insights • Work on other strategic or analytical projects for GTC management as required

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in data reporting, analytics or database management • Proficient in Excel (including Pivot Tables and V/HLOOKUP or INDEX MATCH) as well as all other MS programs: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word • Experience using PowerBI • Experience with other analytics software such as Tableau or Alteryx preferred but not required • Experience of working with SQL, R, or other programming languages preferred but not required • Understanding of Salesforce system preferred but not required • Working knowledge of Sabre is beneficial; proficiency is a strong advantage • Understanding of the travel industry or similar industries • Exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English, ability to communicate effectively to senior and junior colleagues • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English including creating technical documents and communicating with non-technical individuals • Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and overall positive attitude • Experience working collaboratively with different business teams to deliver data insights and strategic recommendations. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and with the ability to multi-task while under pressure • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential a must • Focused listening skills and the ability to drill down to gain greater understanding • Ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
