Job Description

onsemi onsemi is seeking a motivated professional to join the IT Data & Analytics team focused on helping the company become more data-driven through business intelligence (BI) technologies & processes.

This Malaysia-based role focuses on improving the Power BI platform by shaping its architecture, working with the Operations team for support, and guiding end-users with best practices. Besides platform management, the position involves creating and delivering dashboards for different business departments as needed.

This job needs strong technical skills in BI tools and data architecture, along with analytical and communication skills to provide valuable insights to onsemi’s business teams.

Responsibilities

• Mature platform architecture to maximize Power BI value
• Implement and manage BI governance for platform effectiveness
• Work with vendors to utilize new BI features and secure support
• Build BI dashboards for key business areas
• Gather and document reporting needs from stakeholders
• Support BI developers through knowledge sharing and training
• Improve BI standards and best practices
• Create clear documentation and communications

Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5-7 years of experience developing business intelligence dashboards & reports
• Strong data analytical and design skills
• Working knowledge of major BI tools: Power BI required, Tableau preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues affecting downstream BI and applications
• Experience in Scrum & Agile development practices
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Team player able to work in an international team across time zones
