Job Description

• Execute test cases to evaluate software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Identify, document, and report defects using appropriate tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain test cases.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and testing standards.
• Perform basic database testing and validate data integrity.
• Assist in automating test scripts (if applicable) under supervision.
• Continuously learn and improve testing methodologies.
• Perform API testing.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager/HOD.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 0-1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of manual and automated testing approaches.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain.
