Job Description

[What the role is]

Singapore is studying the potential deployment of nuclear energy as part of its long-term energy strategy. This initiative involves conducting comprehensive studies and developing in-house nuclear energy capabilities to support a well-informed national decision.

You will be a key member of the team that will play a pivotal role to coordinate and drive the Whole-of-Government effort to study the potential deployment of nuclear energy. You will help us to formulate nuclear energy policy positions, reflecting Singapore’s considerations and constraints. You will also help develop roadmaps for our nuclear legal framework, and lay out our approaches for funding and financing and the nuclear fuel cycle, to support future activities should Singapore decide to adopt nuclear energy.

This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of Singapore’s nuclear energy journey, contributing to its energy security and sustainability goals.

Why These Roles Matter

Nuclear is a complex and emotive topic, and require a diverse range of expertise to fully assess its implications for Singapore. These roles are integral in enabling us to make a well-informed decision on nuclear.

By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to shape Singapore’s nuclear energy roadmap, collaborate with international experts, and contribute to a sustainable, low-carbon energy future.

If you are passionate about clean energy, advanced technology, energy policy and large-scale project management, we invite you to apply.
