Analyst / Senior Analyst, Development Services (Purification)

The actual location of this job is in Singapore.

The Analyst/Senior Analyst, Development Services (Purification) supports the development and optimization of downstream purification processes for recombinant protein therapeutics. The role performs chromatography-based purification experiments, operates purification equipment, and generates experimental data under the guidance of the Manager or Study Lead. Supports laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with EHS, Quality, cGMP, and data integrity requirements.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

  • Conduct routine downstream purification activities including chromatography, filtration, viral clearance studies, and process evaluation experiments.
  • Prepare buffers, reagents, and process materials required for laboratory studies.
  • Execute laboratory studies with a high level of Right First Time (RFT) performance.
  • Perform sampling, testing, and data collection according to approved procedures and study protocols.
  • Assist in technology transfer, process optimization, and characterization studies.
  • Troubleshoot experimental and equipment-related issues with guidance from senior team members.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree/PhD in Life Sciences or a related field, with relevant industry experience.
  • Good understanding of protein purification and downstream processing principles.
  • Experience with chromatography techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience operating ÄKTA chromatography systems and Unicorn software and Familiarity with filtration technologies (TFF/UFDF) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of laboratory safety, quality systems, and cGMP requirements.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment.
  • Final role/level will be commensurate with experience.
