Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, this position is responsible for the evaluation, documentation and implementation of business processes and projects to drive operation efficiency and mitigate risk. This position will be responsible for identifying information, data and processes and addresses how we optimize and enhance operations.

  • Serves as liaison to foster partnership and collaboration across functional areas to identify obstacles and lead effort to a solution. Coordinates and directs assigned project team(s) to document the end-to-end processes to include technical, legal, operational and process improvement needs. Initiates efforts, analyzes areas for process improvement and makes sound recommendations. Executes and/or coordinates delivery efforts with technology, communication, marketing and other areas of the bank. Maintains knowledge of current laws and regulations which directly affect business units to ensure appropriate governance.
  • Ensures the continued success of projects. Scopes, develops, maintains and monitors the project plan and works with external vendors as needed. Consults on project resources, timing and prioritization. Ensures the plan is executable and will meet desired objectives and standards. Collaborates with management to ensure projects align with the overall strategy of the enterprise. Reports on overall project statuses to leadership and teams.
  • Manages efforts of various implementation teams assigned to the project. Accountable for the timely completion of all team tasks (technical and operational). Accountable for compiling and reviewing statement of work, deliverables, user requirements, user testing, implementation, process re-engineering, user documentation / policies / procedures, and identifies issues, formulates recommendations, escalates as necessary and resolves. Recommends and updates changes to policies and procedures. Coordinates efforts to ensure procedures that cross interdepartmental functionality are efficient.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience.
  • Level is dependent on years of experience and size/complexity of prior positions held.
  • Analyst: Minimum 3 to 5 years of business experience with 2 years of operational experience. Project management, systems implementation and multi-media communication experience required. Previous team leadership, supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
  • Senior Analyst: Minimum 5 to 7 years of business experience with 3 to 5 years of operational experience. Project management, systems implementation and multi-media communication experience required. Previous team leadership, supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers in a networked environment and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, and PowerPoint) or similar software. Knowledge of or ability to use Bank software and systems.
  • Demonstrated group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are required. Must have operational, marketing, management, problem solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work with all levels of management with minimal supervision. Strong time and project management skills with proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously. People-oriented with commitment to delivering high customer satisfaction and quality results. Must be able to provide own transportation and arrive in a timely manner as required. Able to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings as needed or assigned.
