Position: Analyst Senior
ITC Defense is seeking a Senior Analyst to support government aviation and logistics programs at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. This position provides analytical, technical, and logistics support to government stakeholders in support of acquisition, sustainment, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to program planning, decision-making, and lifecycle management activities while supporting mission readiness and long-term sustainment objectives.
Responsibilities:
Support may include, but is not limited to, the following general areas:
- Work onsite at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) aircraft storage and preservation facility located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ.
- Perform Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analyses and provide recommendations regarding obsolescence risks, material shortages, alternate sourcing strategies, and sustainment impacts to aircraft, airborne weapons, and support equipment (SE) programs.
- Provide DMSMS subject matter expertise to Program Managers, Case Managers, and Logistics personnel.
- Analyze and coordinate aircraft, component, and support equipment reuse requests from AMARG inventory while ensuring technical, logistical, and programmatic requirements are met.
- Review and validate technical data packages, engineering documentation, maintenance manuals, and related technical publications to support material transfers, reuse actions, and sustainment planning.
- Ensure required technical data and manuals accompany equipment and material transfers, as applicable.
- Conduct logistics, supportability, sustainment, provisioning, and life cycle analyses to support acquisition and sustainment planning activities.
- Provide recommendations for the development and maintenance of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans.
- Analyze prospective changes to aircraft, weapons system, and support equipment quantities and assess impacts to life cycle support, readiness, sustainment, and program execution.
- Apply government-established processes and procedures for documentation, configuration management, change control, and data management.
- Assist Program Offices with acquisition planning, new business efforts, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Security Cooperation case development, implementation, and follow-on support activities.
- Support and attend Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Coordination Meetings (TCMs), conferences, briefings, and other significant program activities occurring both CONUS and OCONUS, as required.
- Prepare analyses, reports, briefings, and recommendations to support government decision-making and program execution.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance; Interim Secret may be considered.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree and fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; OR sixteen (16) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience supporting acquisition, logistics, program management, life cycle management, sustainment, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), technical analysis, business analysis, or related disciplines.
- Ability to independently analyze complex logistics and acquisition issues and develop recommendations for government stakeholders.
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG).
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Security Cooperation programs.
- Experience performing DMSMS analyses and obsolescence management activities.
- Experience supporting aircraft sustainment, depot maintenance, aviation logistics, or lifecycle logistics programs.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition, sustainment, and lifecycle logistics policies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience supporting U.S. Air Force, NAVAIR, or other DoD aviation programs.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
