About this Position

The Analyst-SC controlling & projects India is responsible for supporting end-to-end Supply Chain Controlling activities across India, driving financial transparency, cost optimization, performance reporting, and decision support for Supply Chain and projects. The role partners closely with Supply Planning, Logistics, Regional Controlling, and Finance teams to ensure effective cost management and achievement of operational and financial targets. The candidate is supposed to provide actionable insights through analytics, forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with Henkel financial and governance standards.

What you´ll do

Financial Planning & Performance Management:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles for Supply Chain costs.
  • Analyse manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and inventory-related costs.
  • Monitor actual performance against Budget, Forecast, and Strategic Plans.
  • Identify risks and opportunities impacting financial performance and recommend
    corrective actions.
  • Drive transparency on cost developments and SC KPIs, prepare and publish regular supply Chain Controlling reports and dashboards, perform variance analysis on logistics, inventory related costs.

Cost Control & Productivity:

  • Validate cost-saving initiatives and productivity projects.
  • Support business cases and investment evaluations.
  • Track realization of savings against committed targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization opportunities

Business Partnering:

  • Act as a finance business partner to Logistics, Investment Projects, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Challenge assumptions and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Support decision-making through scenario analysis and financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders on performance reviews and strategic initiatives.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to Henkel financial policies, internal controls, and reporting Standards.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and reporting accuracy.

Digital & Process Excellence:

  • Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes.
  • Leverage digital analytics tools to improve business insights.
  • Participate in transformation and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support implementation of new systems, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

Technical skills:

  • Cost accounting and management accounting

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business controlling & FP&A
