How you succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to be meticulous, organized, and have a keen eye for detail. You'll work closely with our business banking team to provide administrative support, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and timely. Your ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain confidentiality will be essential to your success.
What you do
Reporting to the Lead, Sales Performance, you will provide support to the Sales Performance team to deliver seamless day-to-day reporting/ MIS requirements for the regional markets of OCBC. There is a steep learning curve to understand the processes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Provide accurate and timely support for daily sales performance reporting and ad-hoc MI requests for sales strategic planning / forecast for various markets of OCBC.
Understand operational flow and identify key operational risk areas.
Document procedure changes to ensure that as an organization we are audit compliant.
Assist with the day-to-day activities for Sales Performance for various markets of OCBC.
Assist with data analysis, data validation and feature engineering for Raw datasets.
Assist with User Acceptance Test (when required).
Analyse the performance data to come up with insights for senior management.
Develop forecasting models using predictive analytics techniques for the prediction of Sales across various channels.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in a quantitative discipline – Finance / Accountancy / Economics/ Data Analytics with minimum of 1-2 years related working experience.
Good technical skills (SAS, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA, Python).
Data Warehousing knowledge will be an advantage.
Possess professional maturity and results orientation.
Good communication skills
Some business partnering experience will be beneficial.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and possess the drive to learn
Data management experience will be advantageous.
