Analyst - S2P Operational Excellence

Department: Global Finance

Drive transformation projects that streamline procurement and finance operations, reaching teams and affiliates across the globe.

Your new role

As an Analyst in S2P Operational Excellence, you'll be at the heart of cross-functional projects that enhance how Novo Nordisk's procurement and finance operations deliver value. You'll manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while championing operational excellence across our global business services.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Leading end-to-end project management of cross-functional Procurement and Finance initiatives, ensuring delivery on budget, scope, and timeline
  • Engaging with department leads and senior stakeholders across Procurement and Finance to scope, plan, track, and close operational excellence projects
  • Contributing as a core team member in designing future processes aligned with Finance and GBS strategy, including participating in demos, iteration planning, and backlog prioritization
  • Managing user acceptance testing (UAT) by assessing scenarios, identifying system flaws, and collaborating with testing teams to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved
  • Acting as the voice of GBS Operations during change management, representing standardization requests with affiliates and supporting post-go-live stabilization
  • Developing compelling project content and presentations for management, including slide design, chart development, and strategic storytelling
  • Preparing and tracking project plans, maintaining alignment between project teams and receiving organizations (P2P), and defining the right KPIs and risk mitigation strategies

Within Finance, Legal & Global Solutions sits Finance Global Business Services (GBS), which delivers financial, analytical, procurement, compliance, and digital services across the end-to-end finance value chain for Novo Nordisk globally. As a growing technology-led function, the team supports procurement, accounts payable, accounting, tax & treasury, financial planning & analytics, commercial analytics, and digital excellence & communications across Europe, the Americas, Africa, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an Analyst who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and has a passion for driving operational excellence. You'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (or equivalent)
  • 6-8 years of experience from a finance BPO center, with 5+ years' work experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance operations
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience, ideally with PMP or similar project management certification
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to resolve multiple dependencies across teams in different geographies
  • Excellent oral and written communication and editorial skills, with experience working directly with management teams
  • Experience in designing compelling, structured, and logical storyboards and translating business strategies into high-quality PowerPoint presentations
  • Knowledge of design tools (Photoshop, CorelDraw) is preferred
