We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Analyst-Risk Screening Processor.
In this role, you will:
- Proactively develop understanding of the business and product area, documenting and building a knowledge base within Negative News Screening.
- Undertake internal activities as per established quality standards and defined quality parameters for the process. Devise delivery strategies to implement feedback received, ensuring identified errors are prevented in future work.
- Drive the production of the Customer Due Diligence profile to the highest quality standard, ensuring alignment with the latest policies and procedures. Take full ownership of assigned profiles/tasks and manage them through to completion—whether new requests or reassigned work items.
- Collaborate closely with Assistant Managers, providing guidance and coverage as appropriate. Take ownership of remediation-related issues and their resolution, coordinating closely with all Customer Due Diligence functions to remove bottlenecks efficiently and on time.
- Obtain and update missing information/documentation from the client via internal records or externally through bespoke information providers, and update client records accordingly.
- Monitor and follow up on client profiles to ensure alignment with the latest escalation matrix and confirm all required signoffs are completed as per the existing matrix.
- Conduct outgoing/incoming client interactions, providing excellent customer service and support on Customer Due Diligence projects. Ensure all audit requirements are met within defined timelines.
- Contribute to a positive and productive environment through openness, flexibility, a positive attitude, prompt reporting/escalation of issues, and effective time management. Support achievement of team objectives, participate in building cohesive teams, and build professional relationships with colleagues across functions.
To be successful you will:
- Minimum qualification: Graduation (10+2+3) in Commerce/Finance or equivalent is essential. Experience working in Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer teams is desirable.
- Flexibility to work different shifts; excellent communication skills; good understanding of Microsoft Office (MS Office). Ability to interpret complex regulatory guideline changes and assess impact.
- Act as a role model for Group Values and Behaviors (Open, Connected, Dependable), supporting colleagues and customers to deliver superior service through these values.
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder management. Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy. Sound knowledge of financial regulatory requirements.
- Operational effectiveness and control: Identify customer issues/queries accurately; analyze, resolve and respond by following standards, procedures, policies and Group guidelines.
- Adhere to compliance/audit requirements communicated by management; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; immediately report any confidentiality breach to the line manager. Keep updated on the latest procedural/policy changes across all streams.
- Support the line manager/supervisor with day-to-day operations and assist peers on process as needed. Participate in team meetings/activities and help sustain team spirit.
- Own profile management for assigned requests. Work to tight deadlines under pressure. Communicate clearly in writing with team members, Compliance, the Relationship Manager, customers, and other stakeholders as required.
