Great music starts with great data.
As an Analyst, Repertoire Quality, you’ll help ensure the song information behind BMI’s repertoire is accurate, complete and ready to support licensing and royalty distribution. This role combines research, analysis, problem-solving and collaboration to resolve registration issues, investigate conflicts and improve the quality of repertoire information.
You’ll dig into song registrations, research information across multiple sources, monitor chart activity, identify trends and root causes, and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues. Your work will also help identify opportunities to improve processes and prevent recurring problems.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys investigating details, connecting the dots and solving complex problems — while building deeper knowledge of music publishing, copyright administration and the systems that support the music industry.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of song registrations for the purpose of licensing and distribution. Perform quality assurance activities to increase the accuracy of existing and future repertoire.
