Position Summary
Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is seeking a highly organized and analytical Quality & Regulatory Reporting Analyst to support the organization’s quality improvement, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives.
This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, validating, and submitting required quality and regulatory data while supporting the organization’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. The Analyst works collaboratively with leadership and departments across the organization to ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements and to support data-driven operational improvement.
The ideal candidate has experience with healthcare quality reporting, regulatory programs, performance improvement methodologies, and healthcare data analysis.
Work Arrangement & Schedule
- Part-time | 0.5 FTE (approximately 20 hours/week)
- Hybrid or fully remote position
- Flexible scheduling based on departmental needs and deadlines
- Candidates must have the ability to commute to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, when in-person meetings, trainings, onsite collaboration, or operational needs require onsite presence
- While the role is largely remote, candidates should be comfortable supporting occasional onsite responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Regulatory Reporting
- Coordinate and submit required reporting for assigned regulatory and quality programs, including:
- - Medicare Promoting Interoperability
- - MIPS
- - MBQIP
- - HQIP / HCPF reporting
- - Additional assigned reporting programs
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met accurately and timely
- Maintain current knowledge of federal and state quality reporting requirements
Data Analysis & Performance Improvement
- Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret healthcare quality data
- Monitor trends and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives through data analysis and reporting
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies
Collaboration & Communication
- Work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and leadership teams
- Participate in QAPI and performance improvement meetings as requested
- Communicate regulatory updates and reporting requirements clearly and effectively
Compliance & Documentation
- Validate data integrity and ensure reporting accuracy
- Maintain organized documentation and reporting records
- Support regulatory readiness and survey preparation activities
Professional Development
- Maintain current knowledge of healthcare quality methodologies and reporting standards
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities related to QAPI and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
- - Nursing
- - Healthcare Administration
- - Public Health
- - Business Administration
- - Or related field strongly preferred
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience in quality, performance improvement, or regulatory reporting required
- Experience in:
- - Healthcare informatics
- - Clinical operations
- - Leadership
- - Quality improvement methodologies

Licensure

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Compensation Range: $32.60 - $50.40 hourly, based on years of relevant experience. "Relevant experience" means relevant to the employee's responsibilities set forth in the job description as determined by the HR Manager, CAO, applicable department manager/director and applicable senior leader.
