
The University of Maine System (UMS) is seeking an Analyst Programmer II to join our Enterprise Services team. This is an opportunity for an application developer to work with enterprise systems that support students, faculty, and employees across Maine's public universities.
The Analyst Programmer II develops, maintains, and supports administrative applications used throughout the University of Maine System. Working as part of a collaborative technical team, this position performs moderately complex application development and operational support work, including developing new functionality, enhancing existing applications, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting application upgrades.
The successful candidate will bring strong programming and problem-solving skills, an interest in enterprise application development, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle technologies is valuable but is not required.
This is a fully remote position, open to candidates who live and are authorized to work in the United States. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST. This position also participates in on-call support as needed to address urgent or time-sensitive application issues.

The hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience. This is a fixed range set within a predefined wage band, so we are not able to negotiate a starting salary above it.
