OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Will be responsible for a variety of OSP duties including, but not limited to, data and transaction monitoring and entry (Stock transfers, production, shipments, receipts, invoices), design and implementation of OSP into the Company IT landscape, assisting in the OSP on-boarding process, processor capabilities data entry, , auditing, training of new incoming team members, inventory control, entering system dispositions, corrective action management and electronic transaction.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Assists in the design and implementation of OSP within the Company IT landscape (SAP), including business processes, portal solutions, and EDI integration

· Works with IT to assist in the ongoing continual improvements to systems and communicate the systems needs of Outside Processing

· Reviews and analyzes data coming from the OSP and verify accuracy and monitors delivery and FIFO performance

· Ensure accurate SAP invoice processing by validating transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting EDI billing integration across internal teams and customers

· Assists in development and enhancement of inter-departmental processes necessary to ensure superior customer satisfaction

· Lead and coordinate meetings with stakeholders to address recurring discrepancies, EDI failures, and inventory alignment issues

· Defines how to more effectively use technology to drive out cost and increase the value that the Company can offer

· Creates and maintains an environment that promotes positive communications within the department as well as fostering teamwork with the External Processing department and with the rest of the company

· Fulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment

· Fulfills the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment

· Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect

· Ensures working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001:2004, IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015

EDUCATION & ACCREDITATION

· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience

KNOWLEDGE:

· 1+ years of relevant steel processing / business systems experience

· Knowledge of, and experience with, SAP including EDI

· Proficient in MS office products. Excel mastery is preferred

· Steel industry experience and knowledge of processors is helpful

SKILLS:

· Strong communication skills, able to work across all levels in the organization

· Excellent work ethic, self-starter able to work without supervision

· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

· Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in data, transaction, and reporting

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
