Area of your work:

Pricing Operations Analyst supports the Data Transformation Unit’s operational team. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Clearstream's reference data infrastructure, specifically managing security pricing and securities characteristics data that impacts collateral management, custody operations, and downstream client services.

The position operates within the Pricing, Rating, and Transfer (PRT) operational function at the Prague Clearstream branch, reporting to Data Transformation Unit. Work directly influences collateral calculations, custody fee calculations, and regulatory compliance across Clearstream's client base.

Your responsibilities:

  • Execute daily pricing work items in the GAIN system, including adding, updating, and removing security ratings and pricing data
  • Generate and validate GAIN first price reports and jumpcheck reports; monitor pricing data accuracy against external providers (SIX, ICE, Reuters, Refinitiv)
  • Process pricing exception reports, handle pricing-related customer queries, and execute manual price updates with appropriate guidance from supervisors
  • Maintain issue characteristics, CFI codes, and securities data; manage published/unpublished indicators and track issue outstanding amounts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of data changes, generate pricing and securities maintenance reports, and support audit trail requirements
  • Coordinate with external data providers (rating agencies, ICE, Refinitiv, etc) to resolve data quality issues and escalate exceptions following defined procedures
  • Learn and navigate GAIN and related reference data systems; participate in system updates and data feeds optimization activities, update existing process manual to the latest
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and document better ways of executing procedures, improvements to data validation workflows, and efficiencies in daily operations.



Your profile

  • Proficiency with MS Excel (data manipulation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Basic understanding of database structures and financial data management
  • Understanding of securities, bonds, investment funds, and pricing mechanisms is an advantage
  • SQL or Python coding skills are an advantage but not required
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Quick learner with ability to understand operational procedures and follow established processes
